or were the 2014 Mustangs' exteriors just perfect? As much as I like the 2015's, the 2014's have just the right amount of retro and modern.

I look at any Mustang between 2005 and 2014 and all I see is DERP

I really liked these as well. That being said, I was highly skeptical of the new Mustang's looks until I saw one in person this summer. I think the new ones look much better in person.

Derp as in 'man, I wish I'd bought one'

True. I love the fastback-ness of the new ones

Honestly the last three generations have been superb looking. I was more hyped for the 2014's than the 15's. But they each have their different beauty

I'd only seen them in pictures, and then I ended up parking next to a preproduction GT convertible. It was gorgeous.

I love the tail of the '14. LOVE it.

No, the '14 already looks dated. As does every car with a visual "bumper" thats still in production. I know it was restyled, but its really starting to show its age, aka its 2000 and late.

Eh, I like them, but they were getting a bit stale IMO.

YES! The 2014 was the perfect culmination of everything Mustang new and old. Best looking Mustang in recent history IMO. The '15 isn't doing much for me, unfortunately.

I fully agree. I would take a 2014 over a 2015 any day.

Poor example here but i took a quick shot when driving through the parking lot last week. I dont really like the back of the new ones...front looks sinister in black and it flows well along the side but i just cant...cant...accept the tail.

But they're so fat and swollen though. Makes the 69s and 70s look slender.

Looks like an ingrown toenail

And it has the Taurus slash behind the rear wheel. My reaction

This will forever be my favorite looking mustang.

i love the back end, so clean.

I just feel that it looks almost...idk... fake. Plastic. Photos can flash it up but in person I actually started to dislike it more.

You are correct, face of thunder. And last year of the live axle.

Meh. Always looked like a refresh of the '05 model. Which looked like a refresh of the late 90s model. Which looked like a refresh of the one prior to that.
But, the '15 looks like a modern version of the late 90s model. So yeah.

Bought my 2014 after seeing the pics for the 2015, so I agree! Plus great rebate and deal since they were trying to clear out the lot.

It's a million times better than the 2015's.

Near perfect? I guess... Well they have looked better than previous body styles. The Boss 302 Laguna Seca Mustang looks the best to me since the driving is also good, even folks that don't really like the mustang can at least say it goes around a track good. The 2015 looks okay, but I think the "custom" ones will make the overall look more complete.

It's just you. The shape is right, but the rest is gaudy.

I'm not too big a fan of the 2015s but holy hell that looks flipping sinister. I love murdered out cars (even though that ones actually a dark grey)
